Print Types and Papers

Two main types of prints are available on bybrooker.com, each mostly using one of two different papers. The print process and paper used are listed by each image on the website. Which one you will receive depends upon the type of work you order.

• C-Type Photographic Prints have a deep, rich tonal range that can only be achieved with a genuine professional photo print, which are used for the Photographic Prints available here, and printed on C-Type Fuji Crystal Matt. An archive paper with a semi-matt finish, it is coated with a slightly stippled texture giving a very natural photographic finish with subtle colour. A versatile paper, working well with all photographic images. It maintains colour authentically, giving a detailed, three-dimensional, beautiful photographic reproduction.

• Giclée Fine Art Prints, which are loved by visual artists for their handmade feel, beautiful range of textured papers and vibrant, brilliant tonal range. These are specified for Artwork Prints available here and printed on Giclée Hahnemühle Photo Rag. This paper has a super matt finish, with muted blacks, even colour reproduction and excellent detail. The surface has minimal texture with a chalky smooth cotton feel which allows for smooth colour gradients. It has a delicate surface so it’s recommended that extra care be taken whilst handling.
